Rock n Roll Circus 2026 At Earlham Park Norwich

29 August 2026

Review by John Rawstron

The Rock N Roll Circus at Earlham Park in Norwich was an absolute celebration of live entertainment, bringing together the best of noughties & nostalgia, spectacular big-top circus acts and an impressive showcase of local talent. From the moment the event got underway, there was a real sense of excitement and anticipation in the air, with the atmosphere building throughout the day. It is a no wonder it was a sold old event at a full capacity of 8000 each day.

What made the event particularly special was the way it blended the familiarity and feel-good nostalgia of the noughties with the thrill and spectacle of a traditional circus. The big-top performances added a completely different dimension to the experience, with energetic, jaw-dropping acts providing plenty of those moments where you simply sit back and wonder how on earth the performers managed it.

The music was, of course, a huge part of the appeal. The noughties theme delivered plenty of nostalgia, creating an instantly recognisable soundtrack that had the crowd singing, dancing and reminiscing. There was a fantastic sense of shared enjoyment, with people of all ages getting swept up in the atmosphere.

It was also brilliant to see local talent given such a prominent platform. The combination of established entertainment and homegrown performers gave the event a genuine community feel, while showcasing just how much talent there is in and around Norwich.

Overall, Rock N Roll Circus was far more than just a gig , it was a full-on entertainment experience. The combination of nostalgic music, incredible circus performances, colourful production and a lively crowd made for an unforgettable day at Earlham Park. It was fun, energetic and wonderfully over-the-top in exactly the right way.

Not even the torrential rain on the Friday disturbed the festival goers, it simply acted as a pyro for a fantastic event that managed to deliver something for everyone, and one I’d happily experience all over again.
